3Mâ„¢ Edge Accuracy
3MTouchSystems
The following is a 3M PCT demonstration of multi-touch edge accuracy. In a point-and-click world, icon selections in the corners or along the bezel edge can be challenging with a mouse and nearly impossible with many touchscreen technologies. 3M PCT multi-touch technology provides accurate edge draw and is able to make precise menu selections, including closing Windows applications by selecting the "X" in the upper right hand corner, launching programs from the task bar-based START menu and using edge-aligned scroll bars.

3Mâ„¢ Multi-Touch Accuracy
3MTouchSystems
The following is a 3M PCT demonstration of multi-touch accuracy. 3M PCT multi-touch technology is best known for tracking 20-fingers simultaneously, but the more than 3000 discrete touch points embedded in the sensor allow for precise touch proximity. As seen in this video example, the close proximity of the fingers does not affect touch accuracy as two fingers, then four fingers and finally ten fingers, bump and weave without compromising touch continuity.
